Map Installed Dosen't Show Up In Basecamp

That is a common problem with some older maps here. There was a problem with the standard installer that many mapmakers used in that it didn't create the correct registry keys for Windows 7 64 bit.

However (taking you at your word), that doesn't explain the issue you described in your other thread.

The installer/registry problem did not prevent the files from being installed on the computer, it just prevented Basecamp from finding the files. That is why I did not suggest this fix, because it sounded like you had a different issue.

I installed a different map - WV ATV Trails 2015 - and it worked fine

Nevermind, I'm an idiot - it is currently beautiful :)

Thanks to the members here for your help - load another map first and load as administrator.

Curious that you say it's the old installer.  I've only used the 32 bit installer, and never had a complaint.
