Using micro SD card with topos out of an Etrex Vista in an Oregon 450

Can I just put the card out of the Etrex into the Oregon and use it or do I have to go thru downloading a different micro SD card for the Oregon in the Oregon? thanks------wl

Depends on what is on the card. If the map was purchased and downloaded from Garmin - such as one of the 24k topo series - it will only work on the original GPS for which it was purchased due to copy protection.

If the the topo map was purchased from Garmin on DVD and you sent it to the card from your computer, then it should work on any GPS.

If you downloaded the map from GPSFileDepot, it should work on any GPS.
