GPSr Units / garmin edge 800
May 16, 2011, 03:46:33 PM
Hi everyone! The snow is gone and I've been riding with my new garmin edge 800 on many occasions. So far it's very cool!  I've been able to upload my rides to the garmin site and view an unlimited amount of info on each ride. So much to learn. Anyone else out there that has this same unit let me know and we can discuss any issues as they arise. I'm up here in Canada (100 km north of Toronto), so if you are looking for some trails to ride let me know and I'll see if I can help you out. I ride both road and trail, but only on a mountain bike. This gives me the freedom to go anywhere.

Anybody have topo maps for free ontario snowmobile trails? The link in this site is to a pay site. Many thanks for any responses.

General Discussion / canada top

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to acquire the Canada topo maps that I see on this site. I've sent an email to the operator of this site with no response. Possibly my email has gone automatically to the trash. Anyone with suggestions or locations to acquire the file, please let me know. Thanks.

I'd like to create a route with tracks and waypoints for my GPS. I'm on a mac therefore I can't produce it with Mapsource. Other than purchasing an inexpensive pc to use Mapsource, does anyone know of any other programs in which I could accomplish this task? Look forward to any response. Thank you!

Is anyone using the garmin edge 800 yet? And if so, I'd like to hear you comments on the unit. Also looking to see if anyone using this unit is on a Mac and if you had any problems in conjunction with this unit. I'm looking to purchase this garmin. Look forward to anybodies response. Cheers!
