Title: SD card to PC, searchable?
Post by: JerryK on February 24, 2018, 09:25:21 PM
I have converted a lot of SD-card maps to PC maps using GMapTool, MapSetTookit, and cGPSMapper.  Everything transfers, except the resulting map is not searchable, except locally.  I managed to score a copy of the commercial version of cGPSMapper, which is supposed to support indexing.  However, I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do to create a searchable map.  Suggestions, anyone?

CGPSMapper creates IMG and IMG.IDX files when it compiles a MP. Using Mapset Tool KIt, you need to copy the IMG.IDX files into the Mapset directory before you start the process of building the map.
