etrex Legend geocaching

My Legend has a special menu item for geocaching, but heck if I can figure out how to add a new geocache location.  Any hints?  I see no way to enter them manually, and mapsource doesn't seem to have a way to download them.  The help on Garmin's site is no help...  My only guess is that the feature is useless unless you pay money to geocache.com to download them direct to the unit?  Otherwise you just enter them as normal waypoints?  Thanks.

Install: http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/
then you can download them from their site for free or from your My Garmin page. Or to add manually, just mark a waypoint, edit the co-ords and set the icon to the same icon (closed treasure chest is standard) as set in the geocache setup on the unit. You can pay if you wish, but it isn't necessary.
