So I am having issues with Projection In map source
« on: November 04, 2009, 06:48:38 AM »
I am having an issue with the projection of my .img in mapsource. WHen i export it from GPS Mapedit it is in the right area, then when bringing it into mapsource it projects it in the pacific ocean, therefore when I upload it to my garmin that is where it is instead of oklahoma. Any ideas??????? ???

If you are using shapfiles do they have the .prj files; this tells what the projection is and puts it in the correct place.
