Why can't i download off of National Map Seamless?

When i click on "Download" on the National Map seamless request page nothing happens for awhile then an information bar pops up so i click on download file and it just stays on that page for a couple hours without doing anything. What is the problem? I have turned off the popup blocker and also tried allowing the usgs.gov but that didn't help either. Can someone help me!! Thanks

Hard to say with the info provided. What are you trying to download? I just D/Led a DEM file so the server is up... Maybe you can provide a link to the file you are requesting so we can see if if that is a problem.

I had a problem requesting a file two days ago and yesterday the file still couldn't be accessed. So yesterday afternoon I sent an email off to the USGS and received a reply today after they had rewritten the code to make my request available. Helps to have a little clot I guess.

No problem, the server sometimes goes down unexpectedly.

IIRC, you also have to turn off pop-up blockers for this to work properly...
