transfering maps with MAC

I was not able to transfer the washington topo or the SE USA to my Garmin 60CSX using the Garmin MapInstall program.  It went through all the motions but when I fired up the GPS there were no maps available?   But I was successful using the Windows download using XP via Parallels.

Anyone else have issues with transfering maps to GPS units with the MAC?

With several hundred downloads of each, no one has reported any sort of problem. Did you install the maps with MapManager?

Yes, I used map manager.  It went through all the motions and indicated successful, but the maps did not show up on the gps mapping screen.

I don't know about a 60 CSX but in the Nuvi you have to go to setup, map, and put a check in the box to enable a map.

Does the map setup show any maps installed in the gps?
