Garmin 650t download trouble

Just got my 650t a few weeks ago. Thought i would try this site out, it got great reviews. I tried several time to down load Great Lakes Trails maps for offroadin, but, it will not do it. I am new to this, so please explain like you are talking to a 5 year old what I am not doing correctly
