Gpsfiledepot download into Mapsource

Hallom people,
Completely new with this gps map consept.

I downloaded this file "Africa_South_OSM_Topo_v11.7z" from gpsfiledepot.

How on earth do I get it into Mpsource?

According to the index page, it does not include an installer and it is not hosted here at GPSFiledepot. You should be able to contact the author on his site here:

I guess we already have exchanged some mails, but I can answer here too.

My map are distributed as *.gmap folder. Installation of map means saving gmap folder  inside of folder supported by Garmin programs. I provide a batch, which does it automatically, actually batch creates a link between proper place and unpacked gmap. Batch name is "install_*.bat", where * is map name. This batch works for Windows Vista and newer.

For older Windows like XP, I provide a batch "maps_windows.bat", which finds folders supported by Garmin programs. One has to copy or move gmap manually to supported folder.

Map can be installed on Mac, in this case simply by clicking on gmap folder.

Short info about installation is written in file "Readme.txt", which comes with a map.
