Free NOAA pdf charts

For those that use water charts into their mapping products, a boat load  of charts, raster files, etc., is available for free download on the NOAA site.

Visit
charts.noaa.gov/?Disclaimer=noaa%21nos%40ocs%23mcd&Submit=Proceed+to+Chart+Downloader
for all the info you may need to incorporate into your mapping.  This is free until the first part of January 2014, so grab the info while you can.

These charts gave been free for some time. Where are you getting the information that they will be charging in January from.

Is this it? But it only mentions PDF versions...

Most nautical charts are available for free, as PDF downloads, for a trial period running from October 22, 2013 to January 22, 2014. We will issue a Federal Register Notice asking for comments on continuing free public access to PDFs after the trial period.
