I have a Nuvi 200 that I have successfully added Michigan Topo maps from this site to and plan to use it on my ATV. Reading on Garmin's website, after a ride I can hook the 200 to my computer and look at the track of where I have been. My question is can I add the track to the topo map and save it for future reference.  What I would like to do is build a mpa with different trails on it. I also have a Garmin legend I could use, but my eyes aren't what they use to be and the display is quite small.

I didn't think that the Nuvi 200 recorded track logs, I thought that came along with the Nuvi 205? I could be wrong though. ;) Garmin actually made some devices are labelled Nuvi 200 but they have Nuvi 205 components inside.

But I think the 200 series supports the raw tracklog "hack" - see this: http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=98909

Either way, you cannot send tracks back to the Nuvi. You can only copy them from the Nuvi to your computer. This is true for all the Nuvi's, right up to the newest models. It is possible to turn your tracks into maps however. They can then be sent to the gps where they will be overlaid on the topo map. See these programs
