etrec 30: Routes and the ETA function "NEXT"

When I am hiking a route that uploaded to the etrex 30 from Basecamp, selecting the ETA to Next feature, I get the ETA to the next blue pin....would like to have the ETA to Next select the next waypoint I developed in Basecamp?  And help here would be greatly appreciated....
