Hi,

I just contacted you through the contact form but it mentioned that it would be faster to get a response on the forum, so here I am.

I've been following the tutorial at:
/tutorials/creating-raster-noaa-charts-for-garmin-gps-units-with-moagu/

And for the most part it has been very useful. I've lowered both my maps under 100,000,000 pixels, have created the world files properly, and have installed all the necessary programs. However, I'm stuck on trying to use the BMap2MP program. For the image I've modified and cropped, I clicked on Load GeoTiff with all of the default settings. It would not let me use tiling no matter what option I chose, so I just hit Create Map Code.

This is where it stalls. It creates the following of files:

55555555.bat, BMap2MP.cfg, BMap2MP.exe, first_MD_geo.bmp, first_MD_geo.gpx, first_MD_geo.map, out.bmp, and white_coords.txt.

I noticed in the BATCH file that it tries to create a TYP file using cGPSmapper and I think it fails to do so. It doesn't mention anything in the command line when I run it in CMD but it doesn't create the TYP file either. The entire program just hangs and I have to retry.

What can I do to convert my files so I can use it on the GPS?

What device do you have?

There was just a discussion about NOAA charts in another thread:
http://forums.gpsfiledepot.com/index.php/topic,2951.0.html

Read that whole thread and see if it helps.
