Lars, have you visited garmin.openstreetmap.gl ?

Not able to find garmin.openstreetmap.gl. But I have downloaded Samos from OpenStreetMap.
Is it correct that the OSM map type is a vectorized map?
It's possible to render this map. When doing this it is converted to a raster map?
Is it possible to say which type gives the highest quality of maps?

Lars
I posted the link to the OSM map that covers Samos Island in the post above that one. All you have to do is download it and copy it to the Garmin folder on your eTrex and use it.

Thank you boyd. So img fo garmin is a vector map. Another file for Garmin is KMZ  - a raster formart which works with Google earth.. Do you know if there are any other file formats for the Garmin eTrex30?

Boyd

Yes, the other supported map file type is .jnx, which is raster imagery that you download with a Garmin BirdsEye subscription.
