Hey everyone,

when I began downloading maps from this site I just saved them to my desktop so I could find them easily. I have a bunch of them now, and they are all installed in Basecamp. I just created a new folder called Garmin Maps and moved all my map folders into it. Now none of my maps are in Basecamp. Am I going to have to uninstall all of them and reinstall them, or can I somehow tell Basecamp to look for them in a different place than where I originally installed them from? thanks.

When you installed the maps the installer program makes the necessary additions to the Window's registry.  MapSource and BaseCamp use the information in the registry for the mapset(s) name and location.  You can not simply move the files/folders.  The entries in the registry need to be changed - this is not recommended as a mistake could result in the entire computer being rendered useless.  You need to uninstall each mapset you wish to move and then specify the new folder location when you install each.
