Turn tracking off on 62s?

Is there a way to turn the tracking and/or the trip computer "off" until you want to start them, or do you just use the reset? It seems that I could turn these off on my old 60csx

Being new to a 62s myself, I would also like to know if there was a easy way of turning tracking off, as the unit seems to record all movements that I make.

You can't stop your 62S from tracking AFAIK, but you can control whether/how it's displayed, and how often points are recorded.

I read that section, so at first it appeared there was no way to turn tracking off on this model, just the options of record and show or record and don't show tracking. But I went to the setup menu on the actual device and there was an option 'Do Not Record' that the manual didn't mention, maybe a software change since the manual was written, so that question is anwered. Thanks
