How can I transfer waypoints from an old etrex vista to my new oregon?

Run Mapsource on your computer. Connect the eTrex and Transfer > Receive From Device > Waypoints. Now connect your Oregon and Transfer > Send to Device > Waypoints.

BUT... there may be a bug in the current version of Mapsource that gives you a problem with the Oregon. If so, after receiving the data from the eTrex, save it to a file. Then you can use Garmin BaseCamp to send the waypoints to the Oregon.

Send to the OR works.  You just cannot download waypoints frrom an OR 50 into MapSource
