I downloaded a birdseye map to my gps storage and can not figure out how to delete it off. HELP I can disable but want to remove it.

 Newby to this and am waiting to recieve my unit, but am reading up on things about the gps unit and was just wondering. If I started out hunting with waypoints does the unit also make a track of my route also as I go that I could use to trackback to my starting location? Or do I need to start in the Tracks menu to do the track back thing with no waypoints to lable if needed? Or can I do Tracks and Waypoints at the same time?
