"want" or "won't" makes little difference but appreciate the notice!

Do the D/L and nothing happens, simple as that

Switched over to Tor and got it so perhaps something related to Chrome setup?

Not heard or experienced any "locked map" situation with any files from GPSFileDepot so suggest there is something else going on.

Even so, look into the app "Fast IMG Unlocker" [REMOVED BY MOD, linking to software to defeat DCMA is not allowed]

If I understand your procedure then you must install Trails then via a mapping ap like MapSource x'f to your GPSr. This will load the img file which the unit uses

Yes, am running Garmin topos on my Montana 650 and Monterra and MyTrails shows on both
#7
It is an overlay so the first thought is it isn't enabled

Thanks for the alert Oz but could you briefly explain why?

Save the overlay as a kmz file and place in the Custom Maps folder within Garmin on the GPXr then enable to be seen

rah, make sure you change the map names else will overwrite

I do this as an image overlay loaded on my Montana 650 and Monterra then Enable them. They show up as a "picture" on top of the map

Hope helps

Not really sure as to reasoning: If you have the trail map loaded then you have the route? If you don't then create one in Google Earth or BaseMap or MapSource and load it to your GPSr. For GE, it is loaded as an overlay then enable)
