i am new at this [ GPS ] and i have a garmin etrex venture HC and just wanted to ask
you knowledgeable people if the venture is a desent unit and is it hard to learn?

would really like to hear [ good or bad ] about the garmin e-trex venture HC.
i am really thinking about getting this model and was wondering how user friendly it is and
if it is dependable.
thanks for your valued opinion as i said that i am leaning towards getting this unit.

this question has probably been asked before but not sure about the relpies so here it is
again. need a garmin for the desert and mountains hiking. one that will not fail and will work in
canyons with trees. going to out of the way places and need something very relaiable.
