GPSr Units / Oregon 600 goes haywire
May 27, 2015, 04:09:19 AM
recently we did a 44 mile trip down the Jack's Fork and Current Rivers in MO.  my Oregon 600 worked fine UNTIL the last day when it rained hard for an hour or so.  then the display went crazy, jumping from screen to screen, and unresponsive to button presses. had to turn it off (at a time I really needed it).  Now it seems to be OK again.  any one else experience such a thing?   It is SUPPOSED to be waterproof.  (I didnt think to open it up when we got off the river as we were busy loading the cars; now it is all dry inside...)

Thanks to everyone for the discussion and  suggestions.  i was at least able to confirm that both maps display in the GPS at the same time.

Hi,

I apologize if this has been discussed before.

I DL'd the Boundary Waters campsite and portages map, and the MN topo map,.  How can I display them simultaneously in Base camp?

thx
