General Discussion / "no map data"
June 24, 2016, 03:15:23 PM
Hiking in the Mogollon Rim area of northern Arizona...when I get south of 34 deg, 30', 0" the GPS screen becomes void of all contour lines and other data and I get a message on the screen: "no map data".  I can still set waypoints and follow a breadcrumb trail, but no map features are available.

Why is this?

I did notice on a standard paper topo map that the contour lines change interval levels at this point.

General Discussion / MapSource transfer to BaseCamp
November 17, 2013, 07:13:30 AM
New here, so I'm not sure if this question has been posted before.

I've got hundreds of saved routes and waypoints from hikes in 2012 using MapSource.  However, I've gone from a PC to a Mac and from what I can tell the Mac does not recognize MapSource data.  Is there a way to convert those MapSource routes, etc., to BaseCamp?

Thanks in advance,
