Try removing ALL maps from your unit first. Now select just a small portion from one of the GPSFileDepot maps. Only select a portion of ONE map, do not combine it with anything else, and send to the GPS. Does that work?
Also, it's possible that there's something in the specific map file you're using that's causing a problem. I'd try the same thing with a couple maps just to rule that out.
Nope, already tried that, first with the Arkansas maps, then with SD topos. Same result.
And it's not just that they won't display, it's that the unit won't even acknowledge they exist. They aren't even listed on the page where you enable/disbale different .img files.
At this point I'm thinking I've got some weird profile issue introduced by either a prior owner or by Amazon trying to cover up the fact that there was a prior owner. I took it hiking over the weekend to do some in the field comparisons with my 60Cx and when I went to download the tracks from the trip I found a track log from three months before I bought it 1000 miles away in New Hampshire.
First step is to get on the phone with Amazon, then depending on what happens there, trying to a hard reset on the unit to restore factory defaults and finding someone with all the original files for a 62 (can't trust the ones that came on mine.)
