So following this tutorial to the T

All that ever happens, with any IMG I try, is I get a little black window with no text and then half a second later a crash report dialog.

Windows XP with cgpsmapper 0098c and mapsettoolkit 1.62

Any ideas?

Further info, trying to load IMG topo maps of for New Zealand into mapsource.
