Reloaded map and it has fixed the mysterious dissappearing problem.
Now, the features on the map will sometimes "blink" until unit is powered off and on.
Looks like there will always be some type of anomaly on this unit!

Downloaded N.C. topo and when panning on the astro, map sometimes disappears. Recon it is just corrupted and I need to try putting it on the sd card again.   Thanks
