I just bought an oregon 450t and would like to manually input the coordinates on the hand held. How do I do this??

How do I set my Oregon 450t to show distance left when using the where to on the compass and track back?

How do I set my Oregon to show me the distance left to waypoint if I am using the compass or track back? Thanks for you help as I just purchased the unit and am trying to figure it out!
