Title: Ibycus U.S. map install problem
Post by: kgw on August 09, 2008, 05:54:53 PM
After downloading and running the installation, when I start MapSource, I get a dialog box telling me there is a problem with the Tiger Database, please re-install, or words to that effect. Is there more that needed to be done before running MapSource?

Thanks,

kgw

what version of mapsource are you running?  that map has an issue with the new version of mapsource.  The easiest solution is to run the older version (i recommend downgrading, the new version is very slow and very buggy); download it here: http://www8.garmin.com/software/MapSource_6137.exe

Ibycus is working on a fix for that and the glitch where certain counties can't be downloaded but its not complete yet and probably will take the rest of the week.

Here is a fix for the current version:

But version 2.0 is being uploaded right now.
