Hi all,

I just purchased a Garmin GPSMAP 62s and I'm trying to upload new maps. I work on Mac, so I installed MapInstall and MapManager. I successfully downloaded some maps, however when I try to install them, nothing appears in MapInstall (see screenshot here : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2726351/screenshot.jpg (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2726351/screenshot.jpg))

The map I'm having trouble with is this one : http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/250/ (mac and windows version, I tried on a PC) and that one : http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/202/

I successfully uploaded Maryland/Delaware/DC Topo in my device, so I don't understand what is wrong with the two other maps.

Am I missing something ?

Those are the selection polygons. Overlay/transparent mapsets usually do not have overview map data. The actual map data will display when zoomed in enough (0.2 mi display level); however, there may not be a trail within that limited view area.
