I have just received the 62s.
I have loaded my maps using Garmin city Navigator Europe.
Maps seemed to have loaded fine just when i try to see the maps o nthe 62s I dont see anything its blank :-\
I can search on the 62s and find say a road etc so maps there just units black with just a blue arrow, no roads etc.
Some advice would be great, I just hope its me being bone as i fly out in 2days and cant afford to get a new unit in time.

Sounds like the unit may be in 'night' mode; or auto and being used after dark.
I agree that you are probably in night mode (or automatic colors while using the unit at night).
Are you in an area covered by your maps? If not, you would be viewing the basemap and it would probably be blank. Also, have you enabled the map in the settings? Sorry, don't know how to do that on the 62 series. Have a look at the online manual: http://www.garmin.com/manuals/GPSMAP62_OwnersManual.pdf
Generally from what I've seen one has to set the display clock as the new handheld units I've had all were set to CST for some odd reason ;)
