Title: Problem w/ overview map tile alignment
Post by: Seldom on June 14, 2010, 05:54:46 PM
When I generate a TDB file using mkgmap the map selection tiles in the TDB file remain correctly aligned, but the corresponding tiles in the basemap.IMG file are offset. I think the misaligned tiles may be the cause of some blurry MapSource rendering with my mkgmap generated maps.

I tried decompiling the IMG file with GPSmapedit, aligning the tiles, and re-compiling with cgpsmapper, but when I do that I get not only my re-aligned tiles, but a single large tile that overlays them.  I'd like to get rid of that overlay tile and substitute the re-aligned IMG file for the one that mkgmap gives me.

Below I've pasted together the map selection areas from the TDB and IMG files to show the offset.  Shaded areas are located correctly, tan areas are offset.

Thanks in advance.
