Title: Basecamp doesn't list my device?

I see nowhere in any toolbar where my device is listed.  Do I need some special driver or something?  Mapsource sees it.

Your device will show up at the bottom of the Library window, on the top left of your screen.

OMG!  There is is now...for some reason.  I think this time, I loaded BC, then hooked up the device and there it was.

Thanks for taking time for my questions.  Best forum for Garmin.....hands down.

Dunno which device you have, or whether it behaves like my Vista HCx, but what I have found is that I need to power cycle the device to get it recognized.

I have a Venture HC and a 60CSx.  I did follow your suggestion and it worked.  Thanks!
