Title: Unable to update my 60CSx software on the unit

When I connect the unit to the computer, using the Garmin cable it sees the connection.

But, when I execute the software update, it says that the unit is not responding.

I am running Vista 64-bit and the unit is showing the Interface is "Connected" and "Garmin"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the serial port or the USB port on the GPS?

When you say you are trying to update the software on your GPSr do you mean you are uploading maps/? trying to update firmware/? Do you get the status in mapsource that it has found your unit/? Have you tried to connect to your unit direct from your computer/? Look for an additional drive.letter. You can then see whats on the unit. Lots of questions I know but specific info needed for help.
