Title: Sorry, but Im a new guy
Post by: Kirch on December 08, 2009, 10:33:31 AM
First, I would like to say Hello to everyone. Second, I want to thank the map makers for the great maps! After X-mas I'll be sure to send a donation your way for such a cool site and all the hard work.

My quesition is I DL Ibycus USA 20 today and was checking it out in mapsource (great map!) by chance is this map routable? Also does it matter what quality I select in mapsource when I load it onto my GPSr?

Once again, thanks for the maps!

Kirch

Few, if any, of the mapsets here are routable.  Quality?? If you mean 'more' or 'less' detail; that is just the amount of data that is displayed at that viewing scale.  It is all sent to the GPSr - which also has these setings.
FYI - the Ibycus USA mapset uses Census data from 2007.  The US Planimetric - xxxxxx uses the 2009 Census data and includes data from other 'standard' sources (except contours), hence it is about 3 times as large and broken into parts for easier download.
