Title: MapSource error after using MapSetToolkit
Post by: biketraveler on September 04, 2009, 04:26:07 PM
I followed the tutorial to load .img files using MapSetToolkit 1.62, and it all went well. When I tried to open MapSource after that, I got a message "There is a problem with the MapSource installation. Please reinstall MapSource and start it again".

I tried reinstalling it and got the same error. I have since uninstalled the maps I'd downloaded, uninstalled cgpsmapper, uninstalled MapSource, rebooted the computer, reinstalled MapSource and keep on getting the same error. I'm lost!

Any suggestions?   ???

Which mapset?
Using MapSetToolKit, does it show any mapset(s) as being installed?

Sorry, I have uninstalled everything, so I can't answer that.

Ok, got it!

After trying several things, the light bulb went on. I restored MapSetToolkit and it showed the map as installed. I unistalled it and MapSource now is fine.

Thanks!
