Title: Can the My Trails map overlay Topo map inside Mapsource?

I'd like to view the My Trails map within Mapsource but have it overlay the NE USA Topo map so I can see roads and such. Can I make it do this?

Unfortunately not.  MapSource only alows one mapset to be open at a time.

On the plus side those trailmaps can be used with any other mapset such as CN or one of Gamin's TOPO set.

The author of My Trails (Jim Bensman) has a link on his homepage where you can download "My Trails" as a track file.  Opening up this track file in Mapsource will then allow you to view the various trails over any map you wish.  I find it very useful in planning future hikes.

If I'm reading that correctly the only states the "My Trails" covers is IL and MO.

If anybody has downloaded it and it covers more than that, please let me know.

Jim has included trails in IN, CO, OH, DC, NM, KY, Iowa, MN, MD, TN and VA as well.
