Title: Newbie Q: How can I get elevation profiles for routes in MapSource?

I have installed the Michigan and NE USA Topo Part 1 maps with the hopes of getting profiles for my bicycling routes, but the "Show Profile" button on the route properties window is grayed out, no matter which map is active.

Yes, the maps on this site do not have the built in DEM information to enable route profiles. You can use GPS Visualizer http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/profile_input to load in a track (drawn or recorded) to get one.
