Title: Removing Maps
Post by: djaecks on September 12, 2015, 09:57:12 PM
Is there any way to remove certain maps from Base Camp on my PC?  If so...how?

Thanks.

Hi, Im not that good with base camp but i think it has a very bear bones map, its only when you plug in your device that it has a full map, i.e.: the map that yo have on your device is now visible in basecamp, this is how mine works.

Maybe you have to go into the setting in base camp and choose which map you want to view, if you have more then one on the device.

What maps do you want to remove and where did you get them? Are you running Windows? If so and if you installed the maps from this site, you should be able to remove them just like any other Windows software. Go to the Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features, scroll down the list to find the map. You should then have the option to uninstall it.

That did it. Thanks Boyd. I removed the Desert Southwest map since it did not cover the Yuma area which is what I needed.

Thanks for you help again.
