What would be a good unit to use for the hm trail and the wind rock trails in tenn,when I buy a unit do I have to buy a chip card with the maps on it ,I am green as greases about this, any help would be good

REI has the Garmin Oregon 600 on sale right now for about 220, not bad for a 400 gps
