Title: Non Garmin mapping program
Post by: nowacc on October 14, 2014, 11:27:22 AM
I have and use Garmin Basecamp/Map Source programs for a long time. Does Loworance have a mapping program like Garmin?
I seen a Loworance gps with a Navionics chip in and and was inprewwed with the Canada lake maps displayed. Was wondering if a person could print off a map using a program of some kind.

I'm looking for the same kind of thing. Garmin seems to have abandoned the off road market, and lowrance has picked up the clients. I had a ton of Garmin files and the tracks that went on them, but when my GPS Map 162 wore out, I couldn't get anything Garmin to replace it. I did find a tiny touchscreen model that had topos loaded in it, but it grew legs, and was way too small to be of use anyway.

Is there any Lowrance support out there?
