Hi Tim, by .exe I assume that you mean on a Windows Machine. You need to open MapSource to use the maps, It should have came with your GPS unit, if not read the following to get it:

http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/tutorials/how-to-install-mapsource-if-it-didnt-come-with-your-gps/

Loading maps are covered here:
http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/tutorials/how-to-load-maps-on-my-garmin-gps-unit/

Fell free to ask any questions you might have.

The Ibycus maps are just street maps. If you want TOPO details, check into one of the TOPO's from this page:

Hi. I downloaded the Ibycus file and have working fine in mapsource. The only thing is, the surrounding 6 counties in PA where I live (the southeast) have no image files. They are just white. Do you know why this is or how I can fix this. It's funny that it seems like the software knows not to show the area where I live for some reason. Lol. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Tim.

Its possible due to a bug in processing the area just doesn't exist.  Did you install the 2.0.1 patch?

The topo maps should have roads so perhaps use those?

Hi and thanks. Do you know where I can get this patch? I downloaded the whole thing from the gpsfiledepot. Did that contain the patch? The funny thing is, I also downloaded the NE Topo part 1 and the same area is missing. Even a little bit more. Thanks, Tim.

Could you give a specific area?  Ibycus used the 2008 March Census data for roads and hydro - no contours nor GNIS points,  NE used the 2008 December Census data for roads and USGS for hydro, contours & points.  The PA state map used 2008 Dec Census for roads and hydro and USGS for contours and points - see mapset description and tutorial for installing via MapSetToolKit.

It's the Philadelphia to Harrisburg to scranton area. Thanks for your help, Tim.
