Title: SILVER LAKE TRAILHEAD IN TALLAHASSEE FL
Post by: ATDEMAY on March 12, 2014, 11:45:12 AM
Greeting all...

Just wondering if anyone has the GPS maps for the Silverlake ATV trails in the Apalachicola National forest in Tallahassee, FL. There are about 75 miles of numbered trails, and you pay 75/year to ride them, but only print maps that I can find. Thanks!!

No idea what's available, but if you have paper maps then you can scan them and make your own map for newer model Garmin devices. Basic instructions are here - click on the compatibility tab to see if your GPS is compatible

This works well for simple maps. To make larger, more complex maps, there's some special software that can help, such as G-Raster:

And if you do make your own maps, upload them here so they can also benefit others!  :)
