Title: Newbie question
Post by: Oregonature on May 12, 2009, 03:12:10 PM
I downloaded the North West United States Map (http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/134/) and I also have Mapsource loaded.  How do I use the map?  The file that I downloaded is an exe file so I'm confused as to what to do with it.  Just trying to get the topo of Oregon for my Oregon gps.

I would think that you need to run the .exe file to install the mapset into MapSource to be able to use it. That's the most common use.

In a related question, once you get the maps to the device, is there an easy way to choose which mapset you are viewing?  I see a way to check each individual map piece on and off, but no way to choose a "set" of maps....Am I missing something?
