Title: What is the L4130?
Post by: Nule on April 28, 2012, 08:46:25 AM
Hello!
MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code L4130 Point-to-Point Line
What does this mean in reality?
Thanks!

A line defined as beginning at one location point and ending at another, both of which are in sight.

The manual definition isn't very helpful is it? :(   Looks like a catchall for survey lines left on the map, but that's just a guess.  Do you have an example that illustrates it better?

it's a sight line, pretty useless in most map making. They go into the same pile as invisible boundaries.
