Title: IMG maps on Garmin Basecamp

I downloaded a map from the web, which is in IMG format. I don't know how the map was created.The name of it is GMAPSUPP.IMG. The thing is that when I try to select the file in MapSetTookit, it doesn't show up, and it says that valid IMG files have an 8 digit name. I really don't know how to do it but I need to see the map on basecamp.

Where did you download that file from? It doesn't sound like something from this site.

You should understand that this forum is for help on using the maps one downloads from this site.

Ok, I didn't know you could discuss only regarding maps from the site. I downloaded from another site, but I thought it was a common problem.
