Title: WA TOPO
Post by: bradwwood on January 06, 2012, 05:09:15 PM
Hi,

new here, first post.  Hello and thank you for providing all this great stuff.

Running Win 7 64

downloaded and installed Basecamp
download and installed Mapsource
download and installed Wa state topo's

Couldn't see topo.

Read this thread,

downloaded and installed My Trails

I can see My Trails in Basecamp, but still no Topo

Did I miss something?

edit: oh yeah, thanks in advance :)

Uninstall WA topo; with BC/MS closed; install WA topo; then open BC/MS.
1.  32-bit mapset needs to be installed before the first 64-bit mapset is installed.
2.  MS & BC look for mapsets when they are started - neither check for new mapsets while they are open.

that did it.  thank you.

Yeah, I though maybe it looked for maps at load (bc that is), so I did restart it.  didn't think to do the uninstall though.

thanks
