Title: Dumb Question - here it comes!

Hi,

I wanted to download this map for Costa Rica. I am going there next month.
I did a search and found 09 Republic of Costa Rica TOPO Map. Couldn't download it though off of GPSFileDepot

How would i do that? If anyone has a link for good Costa Rica map or my garmin GPS please let me know.

I don't believe there are any Costa Rica maps here, are there? The CENRUT project has some free maps - see their site for info (I have no experience with these myself): http://www.cenrut.org/adw/over.htm

I did a search as did the OP for 09 Republic of Costa Rico topo map and this was listed:


Bob,  try OpenStreetMaps (OSM).  No contours and sometimes few roads outside major towns, but, may have what you are looking for.

must have been a left over placeholder. Being deleted. See Boyd's post above for a TOPO.
