I accidently deleted the basemap from my Oregon 550 while doing some maintenance. I already put CN 2011 back on from the DVD but it didn't reinstall the basemap to the device. Is there anyway I can get the basemap from somewhere?

You'll need to contact Garmin support. The Oregon basemap is a copyrighted Garmin map that can't be distributed by anybody but Garmin. http://www.garmin.com/us/support/contact
