Title: Copy friend's Toponav 2011 map to my GPSMAP 62s

Ok guys, some of you will probably redirect me to some other threads but so far i didnt find any that could help!  Here it goes...

One of my friend bought Toponav Quebec 1:20000 2011 map.  He unlocked it on his computer with mapsource and i was wundering if i could copy his map and use it with my gpsmap 62s.

I tried copying the sd card but gps says "cant unlock map" ... I tried numerous things like [deleted by MOD] ...

He is using mapsource and i would like to use basecamp.

would it be possible if someone knows how to do it to give me a step by step procedure so i cant finally use his map!

Sounds like a licensing issue you need to take up with the mapmaker/seller.
