Title: BirdsEye View problem
Post by: Pete on February 26, 2011, 08:27:34 AM
OK. I'm new to this. I have a Dakota 10, loaded Basecamp onto my computer and just bought bought the aerial BirdsEyeView deal. I have no idea to transfer this to my handheld. In Basecamp I go to File:  New:  & then Birdseye Imagery:  Then  I get a message that says: To use this feature, connect a device that supports this imagery feature. If you continue to get this message, try again performing a software update. This is as far as I got. I have Windows XP and maybe this is not new enough?
Thanks

Did you connect your GPS to your computer and wait for basecamp to recognize it?  You have to have it connected to download to basecamp.
